QENP-header-0Queen Elizabeth National park:The park is located in the western part of Uganda, bordered to the North by the Mountains of the moon, the Rwenzori and to the West by Lake Edward. The park has both the North and Southern Sectors.


Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, we will set off on the southern bound road, have a stop over to look at the Royal Drum makers, stand on the Equator and be in both hemispheres at once and after proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will continue through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals which may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent view for bird watching and game viewing, ideal for the Uganda safari .The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species.

Day 2:  Chimpanzee tracking and game drives

This morning, you will leave for the 08.00am chimpanzee trackking in Kyambura gorge. Expect to see various primates most especially Chimpanzee of different species, Black and white Colobus monkeys and other animals like antelopes, hyenas, Lion and many others in the middle of savanna grassland. After lunch, carry out game drives at Kasenyi Area of the Park. Here you will be able to see numerous elephants as well as water hog, lion, hyena, Uganda kob, waterbuck and bushbuck.

Day 3: Return to Kampala
